Thamdhu's story is one of ambition and innovation. In the late 19th century, a group of visionaries pooled their resources to create something extraordinary – the finest whisky in the world. Thamdhu 12 Year old
Dedicated to silly smoothness.
Cinnamon, dried fruit, ground spice, berry jam and a faint hint of mint. Only released when the exact Tamdhu fruit intensity notes are mastered.
Nose: Rich and enticing, iced cinnamon rolls, orange boiled sweets, fresh sweet oak with raisins and the faint hint of mint.
Palate: Silky texture that coats the mouth with banana, berry jam, malt biscuit and classic sherry oak depth.
Finish: Pleasantly long and balanced with ground spice, dried fruit and soft Scottish tablet – finally unveiling the merest wisp of peat smoke.
Tamdhu 15 Year old
Dedicated to fruit flavour intensitty
Apple, apricot, spiced currants, lemon tart, cream sherry and vanilla. Only released when the exact Tamdhu notes come to fruition.
Nose: An aromatic array of apple pastry, spiced currants and orange zest, with exotic notes of pineapple and fennel.
Palate: A burst of juicy apricot and vibrant raspberry, with lemon tart and creamy almonds on the palate.
Finish: A rewardingly long journey through warming malt biscuit, cream sherry and vanilla.
